New! Reading with Dogs
Children (6+ years old and up) are invited to practice their reading skills with our Pup Plaza canine ambassadors. Meet our extra special Pup Plaza canine ambassadors here. Books will be provided, but children can bring their own book if they choose. Pup Plaza provides a casual, fun environment to read in the company of gentle and loving dogs.
Doga at pup plaza
Participants will learn about bonding with their dogs through Doga. While guiding the yoga practice, the Doga instructor will provide moments throughout the class for participants to bond, reward, and breathe with their dogs. The instructor will provide suggested cues for the leash and various opportunities during class to check-in and reconnect with their dogs.
SHELTER Dog Day Out Program
As a rescue partner of the San Jose Animal Care Center, Silicon Valley Pet Project strives to support the shelter in new ways to promote adoption. Our latest program is called Dog Day Out and it involves giving some of the adoptable dogs at the shelter a day out of the shelter to relax and be pampered by our volunteers. We will be giving these dogs a much needed change of scenery and giving them the opportunity to relax outside the shelter for a day.
Come meet dogs available for adoption thru Silicon Valley Pet Project in a relaxed fun environment at Pup Plaza! Every Saturday at Pup Plaza from 10am to 1pm. Click here for adoptable dogs. Note not all adoptable dogs attend each adoption event.
