Hi Blanca! Thanks for chatting with us. Can you share your story?

When I was found as a stray, my skin and teeth were in rough shape from wandering the streets. I’m so grateful that my SVPP foster parents, Tara and Jorge, have helped me recover! They’ve made me feel at home since day one, and thanks to their love and care, I’ve gained much needed weight and confidence.

How would you describe your ideal family?

I’m a really easy-going gal, so it doesn’t take much to keep me happy! A person or family who is content to have a mellow (and awesome) companion would be a great fit for me. I’m so very happy to have a warm bed, food and some soft treats (like peanut butter Pill Pockets, yum!) on a regular basis.

What are your favorite activities?

I love a good snooze, any time of day. I also enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood – I get excited even if I just see my leash because I know what’s coming next! I recently joined Tara and Jorge on an excursion to cut down a fresh Christmas tree – and that was an unforgettable experience. I’m always up for new adventures!

What else do you want your future family to know about you?

I’ve been told my best trait is how gentle and laid back I am – I’m easy to take care of. I like to cuddle, but am also independent, so don’t mind spending time by myself. I get along well with other dogs, am good with cats, and am happy to let other pets in the household have the spotlight. I must admit I’m a bit clumsy, so a home with no stairs would be ideal – or, if you don’t mind picking me up to go upstairs, that’s fine, too! After all, getting picked up means extra cuddle time – and what’s not to love about that?
