SVPP and PAWs: Keeping Your Pets Healthy and Saving You Money!

Hey everypawdy, Milo here! If you’ve ever been to Pup Plaza, you may recognize me from the mural on the wall, which celebrates rescue dogs (like me!) who have deeply touched the lives of the SVPP team. As you may know, Pup Plaza is SVPP’s one-of-a-kind community space that’s core to our mission of saving local at-risk shelter pets through rescue, community involvement and education, I’ve been asked to make a special guest appearance on the SVPP blog this month to share some exciting news with you!

Throughout this spring and summer, SVPP is proud to partner with the nonprofit PAWS for SJACS (Pet Awareness and Welfare Society for San Jose Animal Care & Services) to host low-cost vaccination clinics for dogs and cats at Pup Plaza, by appointment. These clinics are so important to our community because they are an easy and affordable way to keep your pets healthy and happy! This is especially true right now, when more of us are getting adopted than ever, due to the many humans who are seeking out furry companions to shower love with during the COVID-19 pandemic!

We at SVPP (including me since I’m alumni!) think it’s important to make the PAWs program available to the community.  It’s a part of protecting pets and we are so pleased to help with that! In fact, it makes me bark with happiness!  If your pet is due for his or her vaccinations, signing up for an appointment is really a no-brainer, if you ask me!

Here’s when the next clinics will take place:

  • Tuesday, April 27th

  • Tuesday, May 4th, Tuesday, May 25th

  • Tuesday, June 1st, Tuesday, June 15th, Tuesday, June 29th

Want to sign up? Just take two minutes to fill out this form to request an appointment, , and PAWs will be in touch to schedule your visit!

Thank you for keeping pets like me healthy and happy, while supporting SVPP and PAWS for SJACS!
